The painting is listed in the 1795 catalogue of the Stanisław August collection under no. 436: “Vue de Varsovie prise du Palais de l’Ordinatie". Red number 436 of Stanisław August collection alongside red number 4574 of Russian Imperial Collection (added in 1832, in St Petersburg, following the removal of the painting to Russia as part of the repressions following the November Uprising) bottom left.
