One of 22 views of Warsaw painted by Bellotto for the Senators’ Antechamber (known as the Canaletto Room) at the Royal Castle in Warsaw. The painting is listed in the 1795 catalogue of the Stanisław August collection under no. 443: “Vue du Château de Willanow, prise de face au bas du jardin". Red number 443 of Stanisław August collection bottom left.
