Knee-length portrait, facing 3 left, in wig, armour and ermine-lined cloak with riband of the Order of the Golden Fleece over chest, and riband of Order about the neck; épée on left side. With his right hand he holds a mace resting against the table on which there is a crown. With left hand he is holding his cloak. Drapery and parts of two columns on a base in the background. Signed: Bottom right: Bernigeroth sc. Lips. Inscribed: under the composition: FRIDERICUS AUGVSTVS REX POLONIARVM/ ELECTOR SAXONIA etc. etc. Comments Glued onto cardboard with Viennese passe-partout
